Dear Lilly,

Lilly
When we first got you, you were excited to see us and you were tinier than you are now. Now you make me laugh and smile. Lilly, you’re a rascal at night. Sometimes you sleep and sometimes you squeak your toy at night, but I don’t care about that–I care about you. Watch us, give me a kiss when I’m sad. I love you Lilly

So…

It’s after Labor Day.

A lot of swimming pools are closed for the season.

Bummer.

Know who that’s not stopping from a-splishin’ and a-splashin’?

These guys:

Dear Sienna,

I have no idea what I would have done without you as I go through this very rough transition period with no job and no permanent place to live. The stress is overwhelming at times. My life in some ways would be easier without a dog. It’s so hard to find a suitable place to live with a dog. But I wouldn’t give you up for a million dollars. No one can cheer me up like you do. I just look at your adorable face and constantly wagging tail and there is no way I can stay sad. I spend a small fortune on your special food, take you for walks in the freezing Seattle rain and give you back massages in the morning to show you how much I love you. And I give you kisses…probably way too many. I must annoy the heck out of you. But you seem happy just be with me as I am to be with you. You are the best companion/friend I could have asked for and I love you so much. I am so grateful to have you in my life.
