Dear Cleo,

One more day in our family. This letter is to wish you good luck on Monday since we are taking you to the vet to check your ears.  It seems to be that being deaf is a reality.

No worries baby–we will love you the same way, but we will just be more careful with you.

I want to thank you for all of the things you have taught me so far in these two months.  I wouldn’t change a thing with you.

The mess you make, the way you like to spill your water bowl, and the way you bite my jeans are part of what make you who you are and make me love you more than anything else.

I know it has been challenging due to your condition and I apologize if sometimes I get overprotective or mad for simple regular puppy things. Just know that I love you and I will always be here. You are my best friend.

I have a deaf white boxer as well! She is four now, and I love her to pieces! The puppy days can be challenging, especially teaching hand commands, but I promise you it is so worth it!
