Lauren Conrad Rescued Her New Puppy Fitz From A High Kill Shelter

Lauren Conrad added a new member to her family… an adorable puppy named Fitz (Short for Fitzgerald, in honor of the author of her favorite book, The Great Gatsby) The 26-year-old author/designer adopted Fitz (breed unknown) from a high-kill shelter just outside of Los Angeles.

On her website, Lauren said, “I obviously couldn’t resist him and adopted him right there on the spot (even though I was in the midst of my book tour for Lauren Conrad Beauty and Starstruck). The first few days while I was finishing my book tour ended up being a bit of a scramble, but Fitz was well worth the stress. He is a wonderful, well-mannered, sweet little guy and Chloe has already warmed up to him.”

Lauren adopted her first dog Chloe about 4-years ago. She says that when Chloe first met Fitz, Chloe wasn’t too sure about her new companion.

As you can see, Chloe warmed up to Fitz and the two dogs now make a fantastic doggie duo.

BUSTED! Lauren recently posted this #dogshaming picture of Fitz who helped himself to a pair of her Vans. Who could get mad at that sweet puppy face?
