Dog Hit By Car Survives 11 Mile Ride Stuck In Bumper

We were so relieved when we heard that this doggie survival story had happy ending. A female poodle mix in Rhode Island was hit by a car going 50 miles per hour and driven 11 miles while pinned inside the front bumper.

After another driver flagged the car down to let him know there was an animal wedged in the bumper, the car immediately drove to the police station. The scared pooch was taken to the hospital and immediately stabilized. Amazingly the lucky dog had no broken bones, just a lost tooth and a concussion. The owners were reunited with their sweet girl and said it was a miracle she survived!
